1. When the reduction gearbox is working, the friction generated by the meshing of each pair of gears in the box will emit heat. As the running time of the reduction gearbox increases, the temperature inside the reduction gearbox box will increase, the gas will expand, and the temperature of the box will increase. The volume remains unchanged. If the ventilation cap on the top of the box is not opened, the heated and expanded air in the box can be discharged freely to maintain a balanced pressure inside and outside the box. Otherwise, the lubricating oil will leak along other gaps such as the box surface or the shaft extension seal.
2. The structural design of the reduction gearbox is unreasonable and there is no ventilation cap. The inspection hole cover plate is too thin, the joint surface is uneven, and oil leaks from the contact gap; during the manufacturing process of the reduction gearbox, the castings are not annealed and aged, and the internal stress is not eliminated. After deformation, the oil will be exposed from the gaps created; If the oil groove is not returned to the box, the lubricating oil will accumulate in the shaft seal, end cover, joint surface, etc. Under the action of the pressure difference, the lubricating oil will leak out from the gaps; the shaft seal structural design is unreasonable.
3. Not paying attention to it ideologically, and operating irregularly when sealing the reduction gearbox.
4. Too much oil. A large amount of oil accumulates in places such as shaft seals and joint surfaces.
5. Improper maintenance process. Oil leakage may occur if the generated oil is not treated in time, or the sealant is improperly selected, the seal is installed in the opposite direction, or is not replaced in time.
